This site is offered to ceramic artists and ceramic organizations free of charge. While we request donations, there is no charge for use of the site and participation in the Project. It must be understood that to use the site you must register with your user name, email address and a valid password. Only registered members my use the site, contribute glaze recipes and ceramic articles and use the Glaze21 Forum. Registered members also receive the Glaze21 electronic news letter about four times a year. By using the site and the information contained therein, all site users understand and agree that glazes must be tested by the user before use. Ingredients, colorants, kilns, firing temperature and times, and other factors effect the results of firing glazes. It is important that the user of these glazes test (or have tested) the glaze before use. Further, in using this site, the user agrees that use of glazes and ingredients may and do pose certain risks to health and safety. Glaze21 is not a certified test laboratory and it’s tests should be interpreted as guidelines only. The glaze user should check the ingredients for safety and suitability before using them. In no case shall Glaze21, its employees, contributors and volunteers be held liable or responsible for any damages of any kind.
